The
cationic polyacrylamide produced by our company under the trade
name of PDCA, is made from ethylene based cationic monomer and acrylamide
through a copolymerization process. Typical characteristics are
shown in the table below.

Note:
1. The PDCA series products have 20-80 mesh grain size. Under
room temperature and at a concentration of 0.05%-0.1% concentration
it takes about 60 minutes to dissolve in water.
2. The packaging is in 25 kg bags, the bag material is double-layered,
with an outer layer of oven plastic and an inner sheet plastic
layer. The packaging can also be made to meet customers' requirement.
Main
Applications:
1. Sludge
De-watering: Based on the sludge nature, suitable product can be
selected from our product series. Before entering filter press,
the sludge can be de-watered by gravity with the help of our product.
The large flocs that are formed minimize sticking to the filter
cloth and reduce spillage from the press filter. The water content
of the resulting filter cake is usually below 80%. Dosing rates are
relatively small, but de-watering efficiency is high.
2. Treatment
of Municipal and Industrial Waste Water: Because these products
are always positively charged in both in acidic or alkaline media,
they very effectively flocculate, settle, and clarify waste water
with negatively charged suspension solids, such as the waste water
from grain-made alcohol plants, breweries, sugar mills, meat product
processors, textile printing mills, paper mills, and municipal waste
water plants. By using cationic polyacrylamides the efficiency will
go up by several times compared to using anionic or nonionic PAM
or inorganic salts, since particles in most waste water are normally
negative charged.
3. Flocculant
for Raw Water Sources: Featured by low dosing rates, high performance,
and resulting low cost, especially when combined with an inorganic
flocculant, these polymers can form the flocculant system of choice
in drinking water plants located along rivers or other raw water
sources.
4. Auxiliary
Chemical in Paper Making: (please refer to our specific Product Introduction
sheet)
5. Auxiliary
Chemical in Oilfield: Effective as a clay anti-swelling agent, a
thickener for acidizing, and in several drilling applications.
