epending on different applications and different requirement of the customers, our products can be made by three different manufacturing processs-1) hydrolyzation of non-ionic polyacrylamide (post-hydrolysis), 2) hydrolyzation during polymerization (co-hydrolysis), and 3) copolymerization of acrylamide and acrylic acid. Note:
1. PHPAM series products have 20-80 mesh grain size. At room temperaure and a concentration of 0.05%-0.1%, they take 1-2 hours to dissolve in water.
2. Packaging is in 25kg bags.The bag is double-layered, with an outer layer of woven plastic and an inner sheet plastic layer. Packaging can also be made to meet customers' requirement.

Main Applications:

1. Treatment of Industrial Waste Water: Particularly effictive in waste water from iron and steel mills,electroplating operations, metallurgical rocessing, and coal selection. Treated water contains large flocs and a high concentration of suspended positively charged solids.

2. Drinking Water Treatment: PHPAM-3 is the suitable candidate due to its molecular weight. In most drinking water the content of silt and mineral matter and turbidity is high. Even though it goes through settling and filtration, it may not meet required specifications, so a flocculant is needed to get the water clarified. Previously many drinking water plants applied inorganic flocculants, but these don't work well enough, the dosing rate is high, and the resulting secondary sludge is increased. If PHPAM-3 is employed, its efficiency is several times greater than an inorganic flocculant, but the dosing rate is only 1/50 of the inorganic flocculant. Because the PAM produced by our company has a very low residual mononer content (below 0.03%) they have very low toxicity, and can be regarded as food grade. Therefore, it is suitable for drinking water treatment. For river water, which is generally polluted by organic matter, treatment with PHPAM-3 in conjunction with cationic PAM (PDCA-3 or PDCA-2) will give better results. 3. Recovery of Starch and Distiller Grains in Starch and Alcohol Plants: Many starch plants discharge waste water containing a considerable amount of starch. Such waste water will pollute the environment if discharged without treatment. PHPAM-5 can be used to flocculate such starch dparticles before going through a filter press to form the filter cake. This cake can be used for animal feed. Distillers grains from an alcohol plant can be treated in the same way.
